New Library Opening

One of the highlights of the half term was undoubtedly the official opening of our beautiful new library — a very special achievement for our small school community. The library is a wonderful reflection of what can be achieved when a community comes together with unity, creativity and a shared sense of opportunity.

We were delighted to welcome Brogen Murphy, our VIP guest and author to the school for our library opening. Brogen, along with our other guests were very impressed with our school and commented on how fantastic our children are and the positive and lovely atmosphere within the school. Brogen opened our library with a fantastic speech about the amazing power of reading and an official ribbon cutting. As our school is small, everyone watched the library opening from their classrooms where it was broadcast onto the class screens.
