Wild Woods Forest School

Children in our Reception and Key Stage 1 classes spend every Friday afternoon exploring and learning in the Wild Woods with Mrs Leaf, Mrs Polley the Parrot, Mrs Hedgehog, Mrs Owl and Mrs Nut!

Learning in the Wild Woods provides a wonderful opportunity for our children and young people to learn through fun experiences in our fantastic on-site woodland setting, supporting and benefitting both academic and personal development.

It’s a great opportunity to work as part of a team and develop and learn lots of practical skills such as using tools, den building, making campfires, learning about native flora and fauna and climbing!  It is a lovely experience to see and celebrate the wonderful seasonal changes across the year.

Our Wild Woods sessions also provide a fantastic and memorable way to explore and learn some key curriculum content in subjects such as Science, Design and Technology, Art and PSHE.

If you go down to the woods today...you will see children engaged in and excited by a range of activities and experiences...
