Opportunity and Enrichment
We work to broaden our children’s horizons and expand their knowledge of the world through exposure to a wide range of life opportunities and possibilities. This is both from within our Curriculum and through a wide range of enrichment opportunities, including Outdoor Learning. We nurture their interests, encourage enterprise and instil independence, perseverance and fearlessness in accepting new challenges, resulting in belief that they can achieve and be successful in anything that they set their mind to.
Our regular enrichment opportunities include:
- Trips and Visits
- Visitors to our school
- Services at our local church
- Activities within our local community
- A range of after school clubs
- Regular sports events and competitions, both in and out of school
- Special themed days, weeks and events in school
- Opportunities to celebrate and commemorate important occasions
- Leadership opportunities for our pupils
- Outdoor Learning and Wild Woods
Our MAT Passport
Our passports identify important opportunities and experiences which as a trust of 21 schools we feel all children should have by the time they leave our school. We ensure that we build these into our curriculum and enrichment activities.
You can see what's included on our MAT passport below, along with our photo gallery featuring photographs from some of our recent enrichment opportunities.
